USB to RS-232 Serial Converter Cable

If your computer only has USB ports, you can connect this converter cable from your instrument's 9-pin RS-232 serial cable to your PC's USB port.

Applied Instruments' models SAT 9520, ACE 5400, and older style Super Buddy meters (with hardware versions 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3) all featured RS-232 9-pin serial connectors. All Super Buddy satellite meters manufactured since October 2008 (with hardware version 2.0 or higher) feature a USB connector.
