Fluke Networks’ “Carrier Field Test Instruments and Systems” Acquired by TesCom

Fluke Networks is pleased to announce a definitive agreement with TesCom whereby TesCom acquires Fluke Networks’ Carrier Field Test Instruments and Systems .

The following Fluke Networks assets will become part of the TesCom family of solutions and services in January 2016:

  1. Carrier Field Test Instruments including the 990 CopperPro, Terminator, 635 QuickBert T1 and related accessories
  2. Carrier Systems including the D9290 DaVaR and NetDSL systems, NetTech, and DaVaR NetServer management software
  3. Centralized test systems including the AccessView Response Unit, Test Unit, Bus Unit and ExpressView Element Management Software suite

This transaction is expected to close January 4, 2016. Prior to close, Fluke Networks will continue to accept orders, manufacture, ship, service, and support these product lines. Fluke Networks and TesCom have already begun work to ensure a seamless transition for our customers.

According to Jason Wilbur, Vice President and General Manager of Fluke Networks “TesCom and Fluke have a long history of collaboration and partnership and we believe that TesCom’s acquisition of these assets provides the best long term support for our customers. Fluke Networks account managers will be following up with our customers directly to answer specific questions regarding this transition. ”

Upon the completion of this transaction TesCom will continue providing all products, accessories, repair, technical support, and calibration services for the listed product lines for years to come.
